Two Clemson football players have signed undrafted free agent contracts, and a third has accepted an invite to a rookie minicamp.
Offensive lineman Will Putnam signed a UDFA (undrafted free agent) contract with the Las Vegas Raiders. Putnam was a two-time All-ACC selection and four-year starter and played 3,564 snaps from scrimmage, the second-most in Clemson history. Defensive back Sheridan Jones accepted a rookie mini-camp invite with the Buffalo Bills. Jones had 108 career tackles (5.0 for loss), 10 pass breakups, three interceptions and a fumble recovery in 1,694 defensive snaps over 56 games at Clemson. #Bills invite Clemson corner Sheridan Jones to rookie minicamp, per a source Safety Jalyn Phillips signed a UDFA deal with the Los Angeles Chargers.
