Deshaun Watson Watson was holding his left knee when he went down. Three plays after Watson left the game, there was an interception return for a touchdown for Georgia Tech. Game is 6-3 GT. For the game, Watson was 5-of-7 passing for 27 yards and forty yards on seven carries. Good news is that he walked off on his own power. We will have more information as soon as possible. Update 1: Watson still has his helmet on but is in a lot of discomfort and upset on the sidelines. Update 2: Watson is headed to the Clemson locker room for more evaluation. Update 3: (12:57 PM) Clemson SID Tim Bourret says still no word on Watson. Update 4: Swinney said at half-time interview that he has no idea if Watson will return to the game. Update 5: QB Deshaun Watson (knee) is officially out for the rest of the game. Update 6: Hearing from multiple sources that it could be a knee injury. Clemson will do a MRI Saturday night to confirm it. Update 7: Swinney in the post-game press conference said that the medical staff will do a MRI Saturday night. He would not confirm a torn ACL injury. Update 8: Multiple outlets reporting a torn ACL. Dabo Swinney teleconference is at 6PM on Sunday. Official word could come down then.
