Deshaun Watson ranked #1 in ESPN's QB rankings

ESPN analyst Brock Huard has released his Top 10 quarterback power rankings on Tuesday afternoon and Clemson sophomore quarterback is ranked #1 in all of college football.

"The preseason buzz around Watson, finally healthy and on the field, proved to be well deserved.," Huard said. "He made the game look so easy against Wofford with his tempo, poise and, of course, health. Watson hit on 16 of 17 passes between the 20s, though he connected on just two of five throws in the red zone. Watson will be without star wide receiver Mike WilliamsMike Williams

for the foreseeable future after he injured his neck Saturday colliding with the goal posts. Williams is a very good receiver, so that puts a little more pressure on Watson. He needs to elevate the players around him, including players filling in for Williams."

Watson finished the Wofford game going 18-of-22 for 194 yards and two passing touchdowns and two rushes for 22 yards which equated to a 185.9 quarterback rating.

The rest of the power QB rankings list includes Trevone Boykin, Cody Kessler, Cardale Jones, Connor Cook, Dak Prescott, Jared Goff, Malik Zaire, Gunner Kiel and Vernon Adams.

Two other quarterbacks received votes - Jacoby Brissett and Chad Kelly.
