Former Clemson DT waived by Bengals

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson defensive tackle Brandon Thompson was waived by the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday according to a team release.

Thompson played in 39 games with seven starts for the Bengals and during his NFL career, he had 79 tackles and three sacks.

He spent the entire 2016 season on the Bengals' PUP list after having a season-ending ACL tear in 2015 and was placed on the injured reserve in week 17.

Thompson was a third-round draft pick (#93 overall pick) by the Bengals back in 2012.
