Clemson defensive starters and regulars took the stage as part of a College Football Playoff media day Wednesday.

As a group, they rank second nationally in scoring defense (12.8 PPG) and sixth in total defense (277.9), matching up with an Alabama offense scoring 39 PPG (No. 11 nationally) and totaling 465.4 YPG (19th nationally).
