No Clemson Football this weekend so how about a little College Basketball info.
This is more of a college basketball preview thread, than Clemson. Big fan even when Clemson is not playing. Think it going to be a great season and March Madness will have its share of buzzer beaters and huge upsets. If there are those that want to give their own opinions on what they think will happen including preseason ACC standings, go ahead. Again, this is not a bash/ or praise for Clemson basketball as much as what the season will be like, but go ahead and have at it if you must.
Here is my top 25 teams as season's end that will really be playing well:
#1 Houston. Cougs will dominate the American Conference and are loaded on the roster. #2 Creighton - The Blue Jays will also dominate the Big East. Everyone back plus a lot of added pieces. #3UNC - Another very good team and has so much more depth than last season #4Gonzaga - The Zags continue their climb to win Mark Few's first National Championship #5 Baylor - The Bears return to their 20-21 form. #6 Kentucky - Can Cal regroup the Cats from losing in the round of 64? #7 Virginia - Tony Bennett returns the Cavs to their Contender status. #8 Kansas - The Jayhawks will have a say in defending their championship. #9 Tennessee - Rick Barnes still trying to break through for another Sweet Sixteen. #10 UCLA - The Bruins return as Kings of the PAC-12
#11 UConn #12 Indiana #13TCU #14 Illinois #15 Florida State #16Villanova #17 Texas #18 Arizona #19 Duke #20 Alabama #21 Furman - The Paladins could have a similar season to strong Mid Majors last season Murray State and San Francisco. #22 Texas Tech #23 Miami #24 Oregon #25 Michigan

1 UNC 2 Virginia 3 Florida State 4 Duke 5 Miami 6 Virginia Tech 7 Notre Dame 8 Boston College 9 Wake Forest 10 NC State 11 Clemson 12 Pitt 13 Syracuse 14 Louisville 15 Georgia Tech

Coaches on the Hot Seat. There are coach that probably at least need to make it to the NIT and show that their programs are trending in the right direction for their respective schools.
Kevin Keatts - NC State Patrick Ewing - Georgetown Brad Brownell - Clemson Kermet Davis - Ole Miss Jeff Capel - Pitt Chris Collins - Northwestern Josh Pastner - Georgia Tech
