Yesterday? A lot of times practice sessions are pretty boring. Nothing like a real game. Season, however will be here before we know it. Hope we didn't show the puppies anything yesterday. Can't wait for Atlanta! Go Tigers!!!!!!
I enjoyed it. It’s always a good time in the valley. The game itself was about what I expected. Didn’t show much on offense. There weren’t many attempts to push the ball downfield. Sort of vanilla play calling. That’s about all I expected to see from an offensive play calling standpoint.
I saw what I wanted to see with ball security. The ball handlers held on and didn’t cough it up. Their were some interceptions, though I chalk that up to the defense. It was a defensive domination.
I was satisfied with our kicking. I did see one miss but overall it was good enough at this point in the year.
T b h, I used to enjoy spring practice and getting the stories, storylines etc before it became so muted and scripted. It seems like the last few years, half the ones don't practice because of injuries etc. And I understand that. Likewise, the spring practice game is limited contact. Players being held out. Then yesterday, a lot will not even make the travel squad. As Bret posted, 2.5 hour infomercial. I did enjoy Dabo cutting up and talking about the different connections he has.
Other than that, hauser and his poised kicking gives me comfort we have a kicker. Then pearman, imo solidified the 2 qb spot. I'd be comfortable if he had to come in.
