even remotely close to that LOL.
The Coots celebrate finishing anywhere other than the cellar, which is where they belong and should stay!

Xavier is from my hometown and a great kid from a great family. I’ve watched him since he was 6 and super proud he got to go in the first round!!

Good to hear. I know he is from South Carolina, but I don’t think we ever recruited him. So cannot blame some kids for staying in state even if it’s a dumpster fire school. Congratulations to the young man

For some reason his daddy and brother pulled for gamecocks so he fell in with them. I tried to convince him to looke elsewhere 😂

Fred is great a lot of people down the fries but if you love grease like me it’s really good. I love their breakfast.

LOL, if this surprises you, you must not follow the history of the Panthers.

We will see how it turns out, but if there were EVER a player who the Panthers should consider taking, from literally their own back yard, it would be Will Shipley at some point in the middle rounds. But, the fact that he attended college at CLEMSON has doomed that scenario. Probably a good thing for him, that franchise is a continual dumpster fire.

Having a fifth year option from the first round probably had a lot to do with trading up so it is the first round. They were high on him and wanted that option and did not have to give up much to do it. I liked other WRs but I do not think it is too much of a reach that could work out. Too bad he will be in his 30s before he is ready to produce, hehe

This is the answer here. Having that fifth year option for what essentially boils down to a swap of a fifth rounder for a sixth makes all the sense in the world.

Original team so I’m still not sure I’d make the move. My frustration was more that they went to any extra lengths to draft to cack when they don’t go to any lengths to go after tigers.

my theory is that the current ownership is driving the franchise into the ground to justify a move.
