qualifying is a tough road. I have been told by 2 guys who played the tour and won majors both tell me they would never go through Open qualifying aqain once their exemptions ran out. I admire Sam for his perseverance

God bless Morgan Hoffman for still trying. Watched documentary on him with rare form of pectoral muscular dystrophy. Tried many natural holistic remedies including drinking his own urine to regain strength.

Looks like Lucas Glover will be the only Tigers competing at Pinehurst this year. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Yep. That's what it looks like. Sam disappeared from the field list prior to the start of the qualifier in Columbus, and then everyone else either came up short or was a DNF.

Very impressed with Jonathan. Par 5 9th got him. Bogeyed both rounds. Ouch. Birdies on both and that's 4 strokes. But continued good playing.
Carson birdied plenty enough holes, just couldn't stem the bogeys.
As skeeta56 would say, on to the next. I was very surprised that Jacob didn't play in the Canadian site.
If you're so inclined on this dead Tuesday of golf, follow Kat Schuster at the southern women's am. She shot 2 over yesterday but still landed in 4th place. Darn bogey on the par 5 followed by the double bogey next hole. So she played pretty darn good.

She had an amazing round. Lots of good golfers in the 108th playing of this tournament. How good was Kat? The only one under par at -3. There was a -2 round yesterday but that was it for under par rounds. Cut of the 32 that advance was +14. Yep, 14 over.
Moves to matchplay the next 2 days. Please post a new thread for tomorrow. She starts at 730 am. They'll play 2 matches tomorrow to get the final 4. Definitely a bonus. Thank you.
