Looks like a lot of fans decided that they have much better things to do than watch practice on a Saturday afternoon. Excitement around this football program may be at an all time Dabo low. It just doesn't look elite with the exception of a handful of players. 9-10 win normal now. Not Natty level and the key spots. Flame away if reality upsets you

As I said reality upsets some. Reality is Cade is not that guy. A change at tbat position will have to be made for this team to achieve what most fans are demanding. Practically a walk-on from Daniel has totally out performed him using the same pieces against the same defense.

SC Gatorade Player of the Year 2X. What other Clemson players have achieved that?
Sometimes you just have to play the best players. Hunter Renfrow agrees.

The question I have always had remains the same after today's scrimmage....Who in the world rated Cade a 5 star prospect? Pearman looked more confident and in command of the offense. He deserves to be # 2 on the depth chart, and if Cade struggles give him a shot.

Nope. A realist. Watched every play from the comfort of my living room. Have gone to like 5 or 6 in a row. After hearing some of Dabo's chatter this week, I told the wife last night tbat we would just hang around the house today. Some good pieces, but go back and watch spring games from 5 years ago while this is fresh in your mind and you to will understand what you saw today. Have a good afternoon.

Yep you got me! DA! My wife is a grad and my baby girl got accepted for this fall. Your kind of fan is what will drive this program into the ground because you fail to demand excellence. You're a closet Woke person. Everyone gets a trophy guy aren't you?? Facts and history tells us that current Clemson football is not playoff caliber. You're probably screaming for expansion in the number of teams right? That way we can at least get in. Kind of like being #68 in basketball. Thanks but no thanks!

Spring game has never excited me. If we don’t score it’s because defense is so dominant. If we score bunches our offense will be unstoppable. Just keep people healthy and wake me when we play a real game.

Let me get this straight. You stayed home to watch the game on TV and are now complaining about crowd size?
And the upper deck is closed for the Spring game. The lower decks were practically full. Easily 40k in attendance.

I sat in the upper deck. It was nice having all that space. Last year they were closed.

You do realize the qbs aren’t able to run and are down when touched, which is a huge part of of our offense. The rpo doesn’t exist when the defense knows that lol come on man it’s the freakin spring game. Without mafah and without brown, and a mismatched OL, Cade will be fine and with our defense we don’t have to score 45 points to win games… we just have to be more efficient and not turn the dang ball over and we will def be in the playoffs. It’s a very vanilla practice is all the spring game is, if the end of last year didn’t excite you about what Cade is capable of then I don’t know what to tell you… if he can get stronger running the ball this offense will look completely different.

pretty good crowd for a Spring Game based on my many years of going to these things. People started leaving just before half. We did the same even though I would never leave a real game until it was over. Nice to be in the Valley on a Saturday, and now we all have to wait until the fall for the real thing.

I'm sorry to say but NIL and TRANSFER PORTAL have diminished NY interest in college sports. It's now semi pro. I've been Iptay member 50+ years, life member, my Dad played for Frank Howard and left school to join Army Air Corps. Fought the Japanese in the Pacific. Survived abd came home when I was 4. I grew up playing football on the hill and during games and begging chin straps from players after games.. so say what you will the constant money is everything has turned me off. I have 10 season tickets but share them with friends and kids and go watch the game at condo near ESSO club...
