Make him earn it with some consistency. And if you say he deserves it.
First, I’m betting he gets bonuses for this run, so he’s getting paid.
2nd, he still had not shown he can do this consistently.
He is only has the. OST wins because they have kept him around longer than anyone else.
Again, love the season, but looking for more consistency.

This year was a fluke. We need to thank Bama for saving us from a 30 point beat down next Saturday.

Great game, we lost it with free throws. Unlike how we played all season. Weird it hit in this game. Refs had a big impact and wow did that guy get hot from three.
Ultimately, make our threes and its a real game.

There’s that infected brain splinter getting symptomatic again…
We don’t rejoice in “quality losses” because they prevent us from competing against presumed favorites. That’s Coot-think 101.
Please cultivate the mind of a Tiger.

Have to extend him. Can’t recruit on 2 year contract.

Yeah, fire him and get someone else with a longer contract. That’s common sense

This right here is what most don't think about. This year was either fire or extend based on the years left. He got the extension as soon as the selection show ended.

Traditionally, I would have agreed with your comment. But the world has changed and Brad goes after 1 year rentals - so 2 years will work.

Sorry but he is getting one...
Just don't be stupid Neff...
Great run, but you have 14 years of some mediocre seasons to indicate he needs to prove more consistency. Tge buyout needs to be about the same...

Neff hired a new Women's coach and wasn't afraid to lose top recruits to try and make the future better. All I'm saying is don't offer an extension and make it harder to separate later. CBB has had some success but we don't need to be handcuffed with a new extension.

I agree, don't fire him. What a great year. All I'm saying, is don't get yourself in a position where you don't have options. You extend him now and we go back to the same team that doesn't make the tourney or makes it and is one and done like we have been in the past. Then you are hurting yourself.
CBB deserves all the praise for this year and how it ended. But he does not have the track record to earn an extension just yet!

CBB is gonna be extended. Our tourney run ensured it.

My hope is that year 14 positions us well for the future and Brad is able to parley it into consistently being a top4 acc team. Iyam, biotching season is over thanks to the tourney run. You saw Neff in the stands. Biotching about the certain decision to extend is picking the fly turds outa the pepper. Unless Brad decides differently he is our basketball coach for the foreseeable future. What’s good for him is good for us.Go Tiguhs!!

Personally, I'm hoping this year gets him an offer from another school and he takes it. Clemson then gets a fresh start. Win-win situation...

There is no school going to offer Brad a job after one elite 8 in 14 years. I do hope the elite 8 trip helps him recruit and especially get a couple scorers out of the portal.

Just stop. If you’re saying don’t give an extension to someone who just made an elite 8 you’re either A) a flat out idiot or B) don’t know anything about basketball
What replacement do you have in mind who’d take us to a final 4? Alright then shut up

These loons would take the guy from Illinois that looked like a deer in the headlights against UConn. Anybody but Brad has to be better. Stop comparing our basketball team to our football team.

Brownell absolutely deserves an extension. Do any of you understand how difficult it is to manage a roster via recruiting and portal players at a school that is not a basketball powerhouse? Im sick of people acting like Clemson is this massive intriguing job to top named coaches across the country. Brownell has done an incredible job working within the parameters that the Clemson basketball program pedigree allows. The ignorance is offensive.
