How long could you go without watching TV?

Was reflecting on a post from someone else who pointed out one of the upcoming NFL games is only available through one of the streaming options that I don't have. I will not be signing up for more streaming services either. With everything now moving to separate streaming with each costing, I wondered if I could actually break away from TV. Could you do it? If you tried, how long do you think you would last until you crack and what would be the reason...a specific game or show or event you would not be willing to miss?

We don't watch much. Maybe 1 hour every other day, with the exception

of football games.
We have YouTubeTV and suspend it once the Super Bowl is over, until football starts up again in late August. Plenty to do in the meantime other than sit on my butt and watch people play pretend! But I do like to watch Clemson softball, too, when/if I can! That one is much more reasonable to go see live than football. It's just gotten too expensive and big. I'm not a crowds guy. Not a phobia, just prefer not to be so crowded. Softball is a perfect size and loads of fun sitting on the berm!

I would to see all the NFL and NBA games to go to separate streaming services. I'd never have to see them at all. LOL.

I think I could go it - go without. Watch very little now and much of that is not that valuable.
I’m going to try to go the month of February without so I can see how it goes.

Well, the power went out an hour and a half ago. Just has come back on. Did just fine. Not sure if that counts.

I have not had cable or a streaming service in 3 years. In the beginning it sucks, but as time passes you learn that you dont really need it
I watch replays on youtube. And I know this is wild, but i actually enjoy listening on the radio. Im a middle aged father of boys who play a crap ton of sports themselves and i never have time anyways

I hope the viewership of the game on Peacock "only" is a bust and they stop this crap.
On the other hand, there will be many sign up for the free trial and half will forget to cancel it and get stuck with a payment.

That's always been the reason for a "free trial." They know a good percentage will forget to cancel.

My wife and I did not turn on the TV for 15 days when we went to Venice and Greece. It felt strange to turn on the TV when we got home. I could definitely do without it.

Do we still have access to Tigernet message boards to get all of the factual facts during this time?
