Here's the NFL QBR for each of our QBs based on their performance during the Spring Game. QBR doesn't consider rushing yards.
Klubnik: 13/26 for 158, 0 TDs, 1 INT - 53.04 QBR CV: 14/25 for 108, 0 TDs, 2 INTs - 33.42 QBR Pearman: 13/18 for 141, 1 TD, 0 INT - 113.43 QBR
What Pearman did was even more impressive considering he ran both offenses.
I doubt there's going to be a re-swizzled depth chart out anytime soon. But, if nothing else, Pearman clearly showed he belongs on this team and can do a good job running the offense.

Thats interesting, even w/o the fact Pearman was the best rusher of the day.
Have faith, go Tigers!

Pearman was the best quarterback Saturday and it wasn't close. He played the game like he was in charge of it rather than reacting to it the way 2 and 17 did. Do I expect him to get a real shot at it? No.

The bad news is, if Pearman ever takes the starting job, our Tigers would have two losses already.

Oh now I get it. We would have to incur at least two losses in order for management to facilitate a significant change on field offensive leadership. That about sum it up? l

Thank you for the updates.
The spring game is hard to use as a measuring stick. Proud of Pearman and wowed by his accomplishments and play.
Cade obviously has work to do and as the starter, he is going to catch flack regardless. From the article, it sounds like he is in his own head. He has the talent, we have the coaches and now the receivers. We will see.
Last year we were a few careless mistakes, missed field goals, and a couple of injuries from being 11-1.
As tough as it feels and seems right now, I still believe we have a chance at being a great team this year.

I really agree with your take. We were so close to being great last year. And, we have a phenomenal team this year. Cade must improve. He needs to stop watching Trevor Lawrence highlights in his head. Take what you get. Move the ball forward, even a yar or two. That's what winning looks like. Cade hasn't learned that yet.

I have never heard of Brooks Thomason but he must have missed English classes in school.
