T-Rump comes out of court and starts campaigning by railing on Biden.

He never wastes any air-time... off the cuff. Meanwhile Biden, for the most part, is hiding from the press.
Anybody trying to equate the two mentally needs to look at themselves first.

business records. Her testimony had zero to do with the case and everything to do with smearing Biden's political rival.
"Daniels insisted that she always told the truth. Yet, she admitted that her two signed statements denying an affair with Trump were untrue. She declared that she wasn’t interested in making money. Yet, she demanded cash. She claimed that she wanted her Trump narrative to be made public. Yet, she eagerly sold herself to remain silent."

He said, she said. I personally believe Trump probably spent inside of 2 minutes inside of Stormy, but this whole trial is a contrived joke.
The machinations one has to go through to bring this to trial are quite something to behold.
A local DA getting involved with Federal election law despite the DOJ staying out, Bragg himself taking the plunge to pursue this case after initially deciding not to, coupled with blowing past 2 separate statute of limitations along with converting misdemeanors into felonies is rather remarkable.
The judge allowing graphic testimony from Stormy that had nothing to do with the true "merits" of the case was obviously just to smear Trump, a man quite capable of smearing himself.
If Biden is reelected, he better strap it on, because I could see a right wing DA, elected to "get Biden" in Mississippi, Texas or some solid red area comparable to solid blue Manhattan, come after Biden.
Trump is not a moral man. He is bombastic and abrasive. I wouldn't want him as a neighbor and certainly not as a friend, but I also don't think this trial is a fair process and it is dangerous to use any and every stunt to try to take him out politically.
Efforts to take him off ballots which the SCOTUS overwhelmingly rejected and this nonsense in NYC may well backfire and get him elected.
I don't care for Trump and certainly not senile Biden, and will not vote for either man, but agree with Bill Barr that voting for Trump is akin to playing Russian roulette while voting for Biden is akin to choosing national suicide. We are faced with a mess either way, come January 2025.

i agree, he banged her, and this trial is a waste of time. They already hit him hard in the civil trial and this judge is not going to put him in jail even if a jury convicts him. And of course, this is run-of-the-mill fraud that occurs 1000x a day and Mueller already handed him the election.
Besides, I'd much rather see him being grilled by Fanny Willis,.

yup, and it cost her a million dollars to do so. Trump is a brilliant businessman, he netted 870k by not having sex with a pron star and setting her up with an NDA for something that never happened.

and why having sex with a #### star while his wife was taking care of their new son right after the "grab-em-by-the-pussy" tape came out was not a story he wanted to come out before the election.

Whether he banged Stormy or not, is not the crux of the case. That has very little to do with what the jury will be asked to render a verdict on.
Some of the other cases may well have some merit.
This one does not and is just a politically motivated case.
I have zero doubt that this would not even be before a jury were Trump not running again.
That is what is troubling.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander one day and bad for the country and the democratic process today and in the future.

It's important that the jury understand why Trump was motivated to break the law

in the process of hiding the story from the public before the election as I mentioned above.
It is interesting that the Trump DOJ investigated, charged, tried, convicted and imprisoned Micheal Cohen in part for his role in the commission of the crime. When he was released under house arrest during covid, the Trump DOJ, for some odd reason, decided to send him back to jail and put him in solitary confinement after he wrote a book about it.
This case will be over in a couple of weeks and perhaps the trial for Trump's efforts to overturn an election can get under way now that Judge Cannon has successfully stalled the documents trial for Trump.

This case has revealed the ‘industry’ in which members of America’s victim class extort money from wealthy people (celebrities, politicians, business people).
Most of the details about this extortion industry, as revealed in this case’s transcripts, are very interesting. Not the sex part, which is ho-hum. But the maneuvering between the extorted and extortee, with lawyers on both sides leading their respective sides of the endeavor being an integral part of the industry, is indeed interesting.
With Michael Cohen on deck to testify, we now know that Michael Cohen might have been attempting to insert himself into the Stormy / Trump matter, as opposed to being sent as Trump’s emissary to buy-off Stormy’s silence. In other words, Cohen might reasonably hoped to prove his special value to Trump by paying Stormy out of his own money in hopes of getting a cabinet job in the Trump administration.
According to testimony from other witnesses, Cohen’s ambitions including … wait for it …Attorney General.
Cohen’s self-delusions were crushed (he was not considered for any job in the Trump administration) and had allegedly ‘invested’ ~ $130,000 of his own money (by paying off Ms. Daniels); then he was not repaid for his initiative.
As for the payoff to Ms. Daniels for silence (which is not a crime anyways, but we’ll move on from there for now), either scenario is reasonably probable: (1) Trump asked Cohen to pay off Ms. Daniels with Cohen’s money, and promised to reimburse Cohen … and then welched out on Cohen. (2) Cohen took personal initiative to pay off Ms. Daniels out of his own pocket, expecting in return for his initiative to either: (2a) get a big job in the Trump administration - - - or - - - (2b) get reimbursed by Trump and still hang on as a dirty jobs errand boy in the Trump Oganization business.

in 2020, and cost Republicans the senate in 2022. He would be better off with Biden’s strategy. Like yourself, he is off the reservation mentally. And Biden has dementia, so I would call them equally unfit for office.
