OK. Testosterone. Serious post is serious.

How many of you effers is up on da T juice?
APM is getting his checked ahead of his annual physical.
Don't worry - this is NOT about APM's performance in la boudoir. Instead, as mentioned below, a lot of the health and fitness bros say we are lower in testosterone than in previous decades due to a variety of factors and they recommend T boosting.
I have heard some swear by it, like tigermanac®. I have heard others say it put them on big ups and downs - felt great, then crashed hard.
For those of you on the juice, what has been your experience?

My thoughts:
-I believe it is correct that, population-wide, testosterone and sperm levels are lower. -Individually, T lowers as you age but also has swings hour-to-hour, day-to-day, and week-to-week. If you are getting tested, test multiple times. -Sleep, diet, stress-level, and exercise will likely have a huge impact on an individual's T level, absent some medical disorder. -Diets high in saturated fats and proteins should help; certain supplements/vitamins may help; HIIT and strength training should help; more sleep should help; more sex should help. -My understanding is that "low T" was essentially a marketing term used by the pharma companies that conflates normal aging with disorders that most men with "low T" do not have (testicular dysfunction, pituitary problems, etc.). -TRT almost certainly will make you feel better and make you feel younger. -It does have side effects and it does have risks. There are concerns about its impact on clotting and heart attacks/strokes. It can also actually lower your sperm count, shrink your balls, and cause breast growth. -The highs and lows may be related to the method of appliation (injection v. patch v. gel).
I would not personally do TRT for age-related testosterone levels.

If you are even remotely considering this, see an Endocrinologist to see if T supplementation is truly needed.
Lots of money is made by jabbing men with T.
T injections are the dumbest way to treat this issue as there are huge swings in the T levels.
For a man with unidentified prostate cancer, T supplementation is very dangerous as it can accelerate prostate cancer growth.
Be very careful. If a person truly is deficient in testosterone, supplementation by gels, creams, patches, etc may raise the level to a consistent steady state and benefit the individual.
See a doctor whose income is not predicated on giving testosterone. Men’s clinics- not so much.

he's got a lot of suggestions for increasing both testosterone levels and for increasing your bodies ability to put it to use. Basically optimization of hormones are covered on his show extensively.
And as one woman put it on Twitter, If he's got 5 women believing they are exclusive with him, running a podcast, a part time lab and Stanford and other businesses, he's doing something right.
