I still don't understand bama being ahead of us right now. I know we could pass them but they have 2 losses, were a Texas injury away from losing that game and 1 yard away from losing to a really bad A&M team. Their best win is Ole miss and that's about it. I understand the others but that just seems out of place other than supporting all if Saban and Bryce Youngs commercials.....

The CFP, supposedly a completely independent operation, waits until late season to begin polling, and lo and behold: they closely follow all the others.

Unadulterated horsemanure! Then, the wags chirp in, driving narratives originating with the SEC and also-rans. Presently, there are four slots, meaning at least one P5 will be eliminated, maybe more. This season the most-assininely stupid were spewing a minimum two or three-SEC team scenario, for God's sake.

The present system IMO is woefully-flawed and in danger of extinction, if immediate changes aren't made.
