gained us by about 40 total yards, Mr. Green picked up 57 yards on 6 returns while the Domers had 0 return yards. Green basically started us off with a first down each drive...and Swanson took 6 away...and maybe more considering the poor field position ND had all game...Now that we are in this new era of college football where we lose a possession or two a game, return yards are more valuable than ever...

He was essential and hasn’t looked bad in punt returning. Which is why I get tired of hearing how he shouldn’t be there, a lot of fans have trashed that kid.

I think he’s going to get one before it’s all said and done, he has zero fear in the return game which is why he’s important to have there. Can’t remember the last time we gained that kind of yardage in the return game.

Well I saw all I needed to.
Got a real knack for the first quick step making the first guy miss then driving straight up the middle of the field without fear.
Kid is a good punt returner.

Some will say I've trashed him. Hi s performance yesterday was his best by far. I don't think his ceiling is much higher but if he can perform at yesterday's level I'll back off my criticism of the coaches decisions to use him extensively. If m proven wrong about his ceiling I'll be pleased about it. Darn near every player on this team has been "trashed' by multiple posters. Rightly or wrongly I think it's unrealistic to expect him to get a pass. Go Tigers!!

As a punt returner he’s looked better then anyone we’ve put back there. I’m not even talking about Tnet as much as I am social media who hates him because he’s a white walk-on. I don’t pay to much attention to TNET criticism y’all hate anyone who isn’t putting up video game numbers.

He really was solid. Dependable…plus just a little bit more. That’s why he’s in there.
It still blows my mind that a program like ours rarely has a dynamic guy back there who’s a real threat to take it all the way.
But I really couldn’t complain at all yesterday about Hamp Greene.

Greene should be the punt returner as long as he keeps playing the way he is playing. Reliable catching the punt, no bad decisions, and he proved yesterday her can manufacture some yards with a returnable punt.
I worried about kicking to Tyree and he was actually a liability for the Irish yesterday.

We were so good on both sides of the punt game. Great point about fewer possessions

It’s weird for me to see the Tigers decisively beating the opponent on special teams and the kicking game, it’s often been the weakest unit under Dabo, but yeah I’d like to see Swanson and the returners play like that every week
