Do they play defense in the NBA? Honestly don't know as I haven't watched a single NBA game in more than a decade.

Maybe not always but they sure do attack the players's that can't cover.

if you’re not watching the current NBA. The teams are actual teams again. Good ball movement and cutting. The defense is actually pretty good, it’s that these re the best in the whole world at what they do.. so the players can create separation and hit extremely difficult shots.
I started watching casually bc I live in midtown Sacramento and LOVE seeing the beam(LIGHT THE BEAM babeeeeee!). I was shocked at mow much i enjoy watching.
Teams are playing, and if you don’t stay sharp the entire game, the bad teams will beat you and no lead is safe. Saw the Kings ease a 20 ot in the 4th live a month ago… they lost the game, but it was tied with 2 mins left.
Just my observations

Also, that game between Burns and Eddey in the Final 4 would be the price of admission.

Definitely second string and ‘nope’ defense is not a necessity in the league.
Check out the bench players…DJ Burns is better than most. Stamina is going to be his limiting factor.

I just think in a fast-paced NBA game... he'd give up a lot more points than he'd score

The NBA isn't much a home for many.
I like DJ, but a lot "just no."

Big Baby Glenn Davis had a 10 year career. Similar body types and games.

I would bet everything I have, if someone would bet the equal amount with me. He has no chance in the NBA. None. He has an equal shot of figure skating in the Olympics one day.

Well, if he doesn’t stick in the NBA I’m thinking NFL. I’m sort of kind of serious.

No. Can't play defense and is too slow moving up and down court to play in nba.

Exactly. He is supposedly super smart though, a leader, great personality, and an entrepreneur. He also plays 5 instruments and is an avid reader. The guy will do a lot if he stays healthy.

I have underestimated that dude all year and I will never say never for him. He seems to have something special going for him that I can't quite put my finger on yet? Some of those rinky dink shots he makes inside are amazing. He looks totally uncoordinated and sluggish, then he does things you swear he cannot possibly do. I hope he gets a chance because he seems like a good kid.
