I think he scored winning goal in every 1987 NCAA tourney game.

Also won Hermann.
If Sylla wins Hermann, Clemson will have 4 Hermann winners and no Heismans.
Very odd.

Saw him play many times. Nnamdi Nwokocha was the best with Obed Ariri right behind. The Nigerian connection back in the late 70's early 80's produced some great soccer. They were a whole other level.

I was attending Clemson when Abadi and Kamoun played. Quite a duo and Abadi had a helluva powerful kick!

I was in school with him here then. I remember him leading the nation in scoring and was handed a 3 game suspension when he broke a UNC player's jaw during a play in the box....He returned after the suspension and was still the leading scorer. He was exciting to watch!

Wojtek Krakowiak

Although I'd accept most of the other answers given... and Ousmane Sylla certainly has an argument to join the elite lineup of Bruce Murray, Nnamdi Nwokocha, Oguchi Onyewu, Wojtek Krakowiak, and Robbie Robinson. Those would be my top 5. I'd go with Krakowiak as my #1, but hard to argue with any of the above including Sylla.

Now, if you can pronounce it that would be even more impressive.
But I agree with your top 5, I just picked Bruce because we overlapped in our time on campus and his performance in the 1987 NCAA tourney is legendary. He was also, maybe along with Gooch, our best USMNT contributor.

Yes, these players were so good, they usually got 3 points for every kick, instead of the one for all the other soccer players!!!

Alot of people will say Gooch. Onyewu. But people also should consider Stu Holden. Usa international and current commentator. We could see what robbie rogers does as well.

Easy lay-up! Bruce Herman Murray

Won the Herman Award and the Natty back in 1987..
Was an athlete there when he was and we were friends so, I’m a bit biased but, I think I’m correct.
Many younger guys have come through since then…Ogechie Something was really good too. Played in the Premier league for awhile as well.
