Ugh. Have tickets to go Saturday. If you look at the hourly forecast it has rain stopping around 12:30 and holding off until 8:30. I guess that’s not what they’re expecting. No way I can make it to the noon game tomorrow. If only Saturday’s tickets were being honored for the 2nd game or they play the double header on Sunday. Frustrating.

show a 12pm game and a 4pm game for Friday. Does yours show only the 12pm game?
Like you, I can’t make a noon game but will be headed to the 2nd game.

I only have tickets to what was Saturday’s game, so it only shows 12pm.

Eh, it happens. But this one is aggravating because I was going with my old man. We’ll try to get up to the regular season finale against BC. On a positive note, I did receive a refund that I wasn’t expecting for the Coastal game. Nice little surprise.

You may be able to call the ticket office and have them switched. Not sure of your chances but should be a quick call to see.
I will never understand why there is only a single attendance figure for double headers, yet they make you leave between games and scan another ticket.
Not a ton of people making a double header at noon on a work day. I wish they would be a little more flexible

Exactly. People have to work, students taking finals and what students who are done with their exams have either already left or are leaving first thing tomorrow. If they’re hell bent on a double header, it would’ve made more sense to have it on Sunday.

Totally agree having a doubleheader on Sunday would’ve increased the attendance.

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure the ACC has some kind of rule that you can’t start an inning after a certain time on Sunday. It’s for the visiting team and having to travel back home. It’s something like that I remember a few seasons we had Miami at home and it kept getting delayed because of rain. Again I could be wrong but I wanna say I remember the announcers talking about a cut off time to start an inning.

Yes, I remember that happening a couple different times. Unless of course, it's prescheduled by tv. Same quirky ncaa rule that won't allow golfers to participate in more than 3 days consecutively thus denying our ladies a chance to win b2b acc golf championships... yet they could careless about schools buying players. Letting 17-18 year olds get fancy Ferrari they can race up and down roads and mame or kill someone... because playing a baseball game past 4pm might get them hurt.

If you bought tickets for Saturday’s game, what the article is saying, is that Saturday game people can come to the 12 noon game, and also come to the second game. Same with Fridays “only” ticket holder, they can go to second game also.

Seems like every home baseball weekend series, softball and golf, lacrosse had to play theirs in a rainstorm has been affected by weather in some way. Maybe just feels that way.
Plus the mid-week game with coastal and the canceled coot game.
