Trump is not a decent person. There are plenty of examples to prove that, but before everyone creams their shorts, Baron's graduation is in the morning of the 17th, the Minnesota GOP dinner that evening and Trump has his own plane.
It's more likely that he'll do both events as it's less than a 3 hour flight which equates to a 2 hour difference moving to Central time.
That's a layup.

No, Trump is about Trump, period, but the LA Magazine article makes this seem like a fait accompli.
He may or may not attend his son's graduation, but let's wait it out. I'm betting he does based on the advance publicity that he is not to attend.
I wouldn't be shocked if he was 0-4 re: kid's graduations. Source please however?
