Some sound better than the originals, but all lack the star power that excited us.
RAIN (Beatles) is a good example.

Near me soon is an Eagles knock off. Many love or hate them, I am a fan.

Never heard of rain, but massive Beatles guy. Is there an era or certain era of the Beatles that they excel in? Any recommendations on their best work?

I have seen RAIN live. They cover the entire Beatles catalog

from start to finish. We really have nothing to compare ANY Beatles cover band to after 1966, as the Beatles never toured or performed live in concert (other than the "Rooftop Concert") after that. I thought RAIN was pretty good.

Most don't know that. Their studio albums were too difficult to preform live on stage in the day.

I had a collection of 50 different Beatle albums in mint. For example, the USA and the British version, mono and stereo. They were worth more than my house.

I have all the tunes/albums in mono, stereo, etc in lossless flac if you need any.

If you like Beatles tribute bands, check out The Fab Four.

I think Aussie Floyd does some of the Pink Floyd stuff better than the original. They are really talented.

7 Bridges puts on a great show. I've seen them twice in Fountain Inn. Well worth the time.

Appetite for Destruction was a good GNR cover band about 15 years ago. Have no idea if still around.

One of the best cover bands I have heard is Mr Fahrenheit a Queen cover band. May go see them again at the end of the month. They are going to be at the Windjammer on Isle of Palms.

Country called Appetite for Destruction, and we're of course A Guns N Roses cover. Very good though. Dressed and sounded just like them.

Yeah, they're still around. Check it out

They’ve become an amazing band in their own right as they are taking some artistic liberties to do their own takes on the Dead’s catalogue.

Are just karaoke singers with live music. Kinda like American idol or the voice.

a good cover band is something much more than a kareoke singer.
