If it had to be made for that senior crew, which I understand, why not at 1 minute mark, or 30 sec mark, or 15 sec mark so to give those guys some legit playing time.
Saying, the 3 sec mark caused so much interruption and also messed up the “Meeting”.
We talk about Cade not thinking straight at times but Dabo is worrisome too what with those ridiculous fake punts.

It was awkwardly handled. I'm sure he wanted to time it so he could run out the clock but I also would rather see him do it sooner and just let UNC take a knee on the last play after getting our guys into the game.

Agree LBB. That was just bad. Dabo letting the clock run down and stopping at 3. I get the seniors getting to go in...though I am not sure how meaningful to go out and take a knee when the field is in chaos is that honoring for them. Did you see Mack? He was already a third of the way across the field for the handshake.

Saying, Dabo can sometimes overthink & dramatize things but again we’ve enjoyed his many unique & joyful events of years past..
like..the theatrical recruiting signing events of years past where the current players are assembled to see who’s signing with Clemson that day and everyone is Family.
At least he’s always thinking about his Boys and that’s a great trait.

It is unacceptable to run on the field until the clock at 0.00
The meeting at the paw will get squashed if fans don’t practice a little common sense.
The fake punt was about more than a first down.
Honoring he seniors, many have rarely seen the field, is a class move.

Respectfully disagree, Bill. Dabo did this to honor his senior players and it was a typical classy move. The people not thinking straight are all those that tried to run on the field before time expired. I don’t think he was going to do it and was going to let time run out until the referees blew the whistle and threw a flag for everyone being on the field. Looked like he was already headed out to meet Mack but the referees stopped the clock so he went ahead and made the substitutions. Anyone complaining about that is really looking hard to find something to say negatively about Dabo right now.
