Future Conversations On Tnet

This time next year the major Clemson sports conversations, especially Football on T net will be vastly different than what we see today.

We will be talking about our new 2025 conference schedule in either The BIG or SEC. We will be talking about playing teams at home that we have never played in the valley.

Much talk will center around how much we paid player X and was he worth it. Or why didn't we offer player Y more money and not let Georgia get him or OSU. And we will be talking about how much X team outbid Y team for player Z. And the talk about HS players signing huge contracts will be discussed. And these discussions will also include basketball and baseball contracts and why didn't we pay more or less. And we will bemoan the increased ticket prices . The ACC will only be remembered for how they screwed us and that is all we will ever remember about that crooked conference.

It's going to be interesting to watch college football turn into something we could not have imagined 10 years ago.

Incorrect, because Coach Swinney would never buy a player, and I am thankful for that. Like the Marine Corps whenever I joined, the Corps was the only branch at the time not offering a sign on bonus. The reason for this was at the time the Marine Corps felt like that if they had to pay you a bonus to serve the nation and the Corps then you were not worth the investment. Not only did they want the best, but they wanted the best with the right attitude.

Our country won't go on forever, if we stay soft as we are now. There won't be any America because some foreign soldiery will invade us and take our women and breed a hardier race.

Great way to explain Dabo’s approach. So many people just don’t get it. +1.

CS will adapt to the new revenue sharing implemented by NCAA or Clemson will be irrelevant. Power 5 teams WILL have to share revenue. How much up to 30 million and how they share it, will pretty much be up to each school. 99.99% will be buying players. Dabo will have no choice regarding revenue sharing if Clemson remains in a power 4 conference.

So quite a few parallels to NFL, NBA & MLB but lesser talent

And greater inequity in the balance of competition? “Sound hideous” per the old commercial.

The schedule rotation for the SEC is already set for 25. Same as 24, 8 conference games just reverse the home/away. If anything happens with the SEC it will be 26 at the earliest IMO.. Maybe ESPN ties a deal with 9 conference games and adding CU and FSU.
