Just saw an NFL QB Draft list that had Jordan Travis labeled as the No. 11

QB coming out this year. Sorry, I just don't see ten guys better than him. He has survived the wars, so to speak, of having terrible offensive lines in front of him. He learned to read defenses, and has mobility and accuracy to spare.
I don't know that I would put him at No. 1, but he would certainly make my top five. There are some overrated names on there, like Ewers and Maye, and even Caleb Williams, to some extent. Right now, I would probably give the nod to Penix from Washington. He, like Travis, has been through the wars, and is still standing tall.

I'm not sold on Ewers yet. He's inconsistent and has also spent alot of time injured. I've seen him look really good in some games and awful in others. The talent is obviously there, but I would want to see more from him before spending a 1st round pick. I don't often say thus, but I think he really could benefit from one more year in college.
As for Travis.. I don't know really. He's come a long ways in the passing game from where he was 2 years ago, which is certainly encouraging, but if I wanted a dual threat guy I would take a chance on Jayden Daniels first. Daniels has the potential to be Lamar Jackson. He's a one man offense.

I think there was a report recently that ewers plans to come back next year. This is a weird draft because you’ll have maye, Williams and McCarthy as 3 year guys and then Daniels, nix, penix, travis, rattler all as 5+ year players. Daniels over Travis for sure. Travis reminds me of Eric Dungey from Syracuse; great college players, warriors on the field, but likely not more than a backup/practice squad nfl guy.

Good college QB but most likely a journeyman in the NFL...

Is the 11th QB taken in the draft likely to even make a roster?

I think I'm in the minority. I think there is massive potential for a lot of buyer's remorse with this draft class.
Williams - tons of talent, no evidence he can run an offense in the NFL. Almost every big play comes off schedule.
Maye - has looked off this season. Maybe there's been a lingering injury? Or is this who he is?
Penix, Nix, Rattler - I think we are seeing their ceiling. I'm not convinced there is an NFL starter among them. After all these years at the college level, the game should be slow to them. How long will it take for them to adjust to another bump?
Sam Hartman = Sam Howell, could be solid in right system but he's looked terrible in NDs "pro style offense"
Jayden Daniels - has had a tremendous season. Did the light come on for him? Or is it a one season wonder i.e. Zach Wilson?
JJ McCarthy - more athletic Trent Dilfer
Riley Leonard - not enough tape, injury throttled him this season, workouts will be key, can he throw from the pocket
Ewers - going back to Texas but still makes really bad decisions, has been injury prone
Shadeur Sanders - holds the ball WAY too long, Deion said he's coming back, he needs a lot of work
Jordan Travis - not accurate enough, not enough speed to rely on athletic ability against NFL defenses
DJU - accuracy and foot work need a lot of clean up, NFL size and arm strength, he just doesn't know where it is going all the time

And most of them will probably never even start.

Penix throwing motion will bother NFL scouts. I know it sounds ridiculous, but they will knock him for it.

I agree with ………
