Clemson carries the water for 10 years, whining the whole time about how bad the conference is, and challenging other programs to get better. Fast forward 10 years, the ACC has winning records head to head against the mighty SEC and B1G, and multiple teams off to hot starts. We make some major mistakes and cough up losses to two ranked, undefeated teams and now we are bitching about not being able to coast through the conference schedule any more.
This is what I think about when a portion of the Clemson nation wants to leave for the SEC. Yes, the recruiting could improve a bit, but get used atleast 3 to 4 losses in conference on a frequent basis. The SEC competition is not going to build their rosters exclusively thru HS recruiting and most definitely have no problem tampering to get the transfer players they desire.
