The OL is not bad. They are actually

pretty good. Lack of continuity is a problem, and the entire offense suffers from a lack of flow.
Maybe it’s play calling, maybe it’s QB play, maybe it’s on the OL, but it’s probably a combination of all.
My opinion is that we need some creativity in the run game that will help the OL, QB, and the RBs that are ALL studs.

A healthy OL is what is needed most

We've played 9 games and started 7 different combinations due to injury. Impossible to have continuity in that context

Lack of continuity and injuries might be reasons that the O line is bad, but it is still bad.

Agree. If the same leadership is brought back for 2022 on the O-line , something tells me we’ll be having this same conversation a year from now. And please don’t tell me Thomas Austin is the answer

Agree. No cohesiveness. You're going to have busts. But to me, it really appears that everyone is not on the same page. I think imo is because the QB can't set the coverage and read the D as has been the case the last 7 years.

3 different LG, 3 different RG, and 3 different C. You're not going to have cohesion when that is the case

blocking. How many times do you see a guy just get beat on a pass rushing no push in the running game with straight up mono a mono blocking.

Oline is bad, period. Has been weakest position group

consistently for years. Lack of consistent starting 5 had not helped but they just miss way to many blocking assignments and get man hanled constantly

If not discontinuity, it’s technique. If it’s not technique, it’s missed assignments. If not missed assignments, lack of effort or maintaining engagement through whistle.
The OL does NOT have command of any defensive front it has faced to this point. Offensive rhythm is rarely established as a result. Injuries have absolutely gutted the group, but they’re having trouble rebuilding from the rubble.

You're right - rebuilding from rubble. Honestly the fact

that we're still finding ways to win, with a still developing QB, people hurt at every position, and an oline that's new and young every single week, is a good coaching.
So many issues, yet we're winning games. You have to give some credit to coaching to hold all of this together. Team could have quit long ago.

Looked a lot better in pass protection( still not great). Could not run the ball as effectively but given the injuries and movement, I think it's fair.
