He is really rough around the edges. I live in the Charleston area and his interviews and off court interactions with the community … well, are kinda cootish.

Oh yeah, that will bring recruits. If we can pay football coaches what we are paying them and we are going to change basketball coaches, open the checkbook and get a big time guy.

Which BIG TIME GUY DO YOU THINK WE COULD GET? MAYBE GET COACH K OR ROY WILLIAMS TO COME OUT OF RETIREMENT. WE DON'T NEED A BIG TIME GUY. HAVE YOU PAID ATTENTION TO HOW FAR INTO THE NCAA TOURNEY THE LITTLE GUYS HAVE BEEN GOING? IT'S CALLED COACHING.

If we are serious about basketball, it has to be someone who has won at the high major level.

I would be 100% on board, but that is not the way Clemson operates. It just is not Clemson's M.O.

Exactly. We don't even do that with football coaches. Bowden was at Tulane for 2(?) years, but was hired for the last name. Hatfield probably the only "name" hire.

Let's face it, Clemson will not attract a big name guy. I would go with the Furman coach as well.

Richey did two things Brad can't seem to do - Make the Tourney and Beat Virginia! (with FCS players) Isn't Furman rebuilding this year?
