ESECPN as the entire country knows they will dig deep and even fabricate negatives about any team of another conference that's being compared to even the weakest SEC teams. I guess you're supposed to always argue that your bread and butter is better than anyone else's, and ESECPN is the best at it when comparing any SEC team to a team of any other conference!!!

I think I got that about right when explaining ESECPN and their love for their precious SEC!!!!

We needed a late-season rally...

to go 8-4. We lost to some very average teams, and while injuries played a big part in the offensive struggles, the defense also failed at key times. An average Miami team ran the ball down our vaunted defense's throat, pee'd on their faces and asked them how they liked it. We struggled to beat a mediocre UK team in the bowl game. If they hadn't imploded in the 4th quarter we would have lost to them too.

Dabo Swinney and staff did a miserable job pre-season in 2023.They failed. That wasn't ESPN's fault. The guy making $10M a year is responsible. He needs to focus less on talking and more on getting the potential out of all the talented youngsters he has on the sidelines. In recent years he and his staff have NOT done that; the proof of that is in the results. 8-4 SUCKS for a team with that much talent.

ESPN obviously doesn't believe in us this year. They've got us #19, behind NC State. Until Dabo and staff do something to get this team back performing at the potential their recruiting ratings indicate. And he needs to recruit some WR's who aren't stick men that can get up after being tackled without an injury. No more Stellatos; no more Ladsons; no more Ngatas.

show me on the field. until dabo can show the offense is turned around then ill just assume we are going to suck again on that side of the ball this year. prove me wrong ..i keep hearing how the offense was split. but that didnt stop the third string qb from moving the ball at will wth the same offenses

A convenient omission ****

Did you even read the ESPN article? It was balanced with no SEC favoritism IMHO

I thought that the ESPN article on overreactions was very balanced. They did pros and cons for most teams. They had negative things to say about SEC teams-- especially TAMU. They had very positive things to say about the ACC's NCSU, UL, & Miami. Their take on Clemson was pretty much spot-on and could have been written by just about any Clemson fan.

Right now nobody knows nothing about nothing and words mean nothing. The season starts in a little less than 4 months so be patient.

Future performances. I’m not griping with ESPN assessment. We have been stuck in this rut for three years now. Easy call for them to make.

Somebody tell me what have we changed?

Well, Clemson has been pretty average to below average the past three seasons and UGA has not been, so until the Tigers play mean and clean and prove people wrong, this will be the theme…..

Poor reality check for ESPN. Great scoring usually means a terrible defensive performance. See the Texas spring game. Poor scoring usually means a great defensive performance. See the Clemson spring game. Clemson's defense is going to be top notch. As the offensive line depth is not stellar yet and there were key offensive performers not even playing, I would be reserved to make judgment yet. ESPN made no mention of NC State's loss of key defensive performers from last year's team. Much ado about nothing at this point. Nothing shown...nothing proven. Have seen this many times.

Talk, talk and more talk. Got to prove it, prove it and more prove it EVERY GAME. If not then everything will quickly become an afterthought. Like it’s been said, be a contender or you’re just a pretender. Come on and spot the ball.

So Georgia improved their WR corps via transfers
