Win Loss Predictions after seeing the schedule

I see us going 10-2. Gonna put us down for a loss vs uga and then either at fsu or vt. That would be good enough to put us in the ACC Championship game, and I say we get a W there and go to the playoff. Go Tigers!

I think that is a fair assessment. Cade's development will be the defining difference.

Dabo will not be happy with that floor and fans will not be happy with it either after having been to the mountain top. If we can get better OL, better QB play and better WR's, we will be back winning natties. Easier said than done. But possible with the coaching staff we now have.

I just have thus gut feeling we will be 11-1 going into the ACCCG. Our only loss is to Jawjaw. I am hopi g for a big step forward from Cade ghos year. Defense will take a small step back due to attrition but will still be stout. RB will be better I think. Receiver corp will be better I hope, barring any injuries. OL should be significantly improved. If the offense can become explosive then I can see us upsetting jawjaw and going 12-0

Love the enthusiasm and optimism. No reason we can't go 12-0 if the development progress we're all hoping will be there with the new hires. Imo it all depends on cade's progress.
One thing is for sure, we'll know exactly what potential we'll have after the uga game. We really haven't played a great team in a couple of years. And no, I don't think fsu or ND were championship level teams last year.

So, you are saying our loses will be to the portal?
Let's hope not for a multitude of reasons. None which are good for us.

I think this team will have a strong floor but not the highest ceiling. Therefore I'm expecting somewhere between 8-4 and 10-2. I'll split the difference and predict 9-3.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict 8-4.
4 losses being UGA, FSU, and 2 among Louisville, Va Tech, NC State and Pitt.
Though if we have one inexplicable loss a la Duke last year, it'll be S Carolina.

We are coming back this year with a chip on our shoulder. Nobody knows better than anybody that last year we had a letdown, more than the players
I think we will go 11-1. This schedule is very favorable with the exception of Georgia and FSU. The only stat line we didn't win last year against the noles was the score.
I think we will resume domination of FSU but it will be close.
The key to the FSU game is the return of Beck at QB. By some accounts he's the leading contender for the Heisman and top NFL prospect at BQ.
With the departure of Wiggins left us without a " shutdown " CB. Pair that with the additional loss of Pride to Mizzou and the need for improved play from Terrell and Lukus are at the forefront of my concerns but I believe they'll surprise , especially Terrell.
Incidentally , both are still listed on our roster. Update please

I thought DJ was Fsu starter.

The only game I don't see as at least a 50% probability of winning is UGA. It's a winnable game, but I'd probably give us a 35% chance of winning that game. FSU is a toss-up in my mind. So, 50% chance of winning that one. There's a very good chance we lose one of those games. There's a better chance we lose both than win both.

I think 9-3 is most likely, but could see 10-2 or 8-4.***

No losses...all wins. I realize we might drop a game or two, but I will not predict it.

The home game we played vs fsu I think fsu was hitting on all cylinders and maybe was the top team in the nation at that point. We were one bad play away from winning that game. We could’ve hung with or beat anyone that day (even considering the sack fumble play).
We just have to get consistent. Where Cade really needs to step up is reads and his play in ROAD GAMES.
Remember UGA was struggling with SCar around that time. Bama struggled with usf.

Feels like the Miamis and UNCs that provided more competition in the conference are fading out to be replaced by the Duke/Syracuse group. Sounds ridiculous, but those schools may be more of a factor in the coming seasons.

I think Louisville is the one to watch for with Brohm at the helm. They'll be pretty good again this season.

I'm being positive and expecting a 12-0 season sweep this year. Once we beat Georgia, the team will have a ton of confidence and winning breeds more winning. Go Tigers!!! Beat Georgia!!!

10-2 is most likely outcome on paper

Lots of work to do building the skill sets and confidence of o-line, QB, and receivers. Hope to see young players get chances in the rotation early. The past 2 seasons, Brown and Williams as true frosh rcvrs with no Spring practice outplayed the vets. So the team is overcoming some challenges that linger from 2019 and 2020 lackluster recruiting classes.
But with improved QB and o-line play, I'm optimistic this team can exceed expectations particularly if they play UGA close.

Good post. I agree with everything you said. I'm tempering my expectations and hoping they exceed those expectations. There is lots of young talent that can potentially do just that. And remember, all we have to do is win the ACC to get into the playoffs. Then anything can happen.
