Some how with the "new college football" I'm not as excited

when kids commit. Don't get me wrong, it's great to see but it's not the same as when a 4 or 5 star committed a few years ago. The feeling is... are they really going to stay? Will we actually get to see them play for 3/4 years? Think about when Sammy Watkins committed. That was exciting and after we saw him play a couple games, it was like... It's awesome that we get to watch him wear the Paw for at least 3 years! Those days may be gone unfortunately.

Except for AI / Fintech / Crypto and other technological advancements which are off the radar for most Tnetters, most old school facets of life, character, commitment, morality, decency, empathy and understanding are on the decline.

The demise of society continues. I really believe Dabo is handling this thing the best it can be done. There is going to be mutiny and jealousy in a lot of these locker rooms as times go forward over who is getting the most from their nil.

We seem to have noticeably less transfers ( early on) than most other P5’s /4’s whatever. Just my take but the whole picture of change is much less than encouraging to me.

Getting good players that may not stay for 3 or 4 years is 100% better than getting suspect players that stay for 3 or 4 years.

I think that most of the players from the 2023 class, the current class, and so on, will stay.
First of all, if you are coming to Clemson, you had better be All-In. That's the message that Clemson's recruiters put out.
Those who aren't All-In would otherwise not be committing nor signing.
Secondly, Dabo Swinney talks about Crockpot vs. Microwave mentality. https://youtu.be/2HIY8NQaJxA
He offers and pursues players who don't embrace that Microwave mentality.

That’s true but yet we still have some leave. Like Beaux Collins, I can’t imagine why he would choose to leave. Just when he’s probably going to be the best he’s ever been. A huge investment by CU and Notre Dame will be the ones to benefit.

We refuse to 'bid,' on recruits.

If we continue to refuse to 'bid,' on recruits we won't get those which are 'FOR SALE!'
All our outgoing transfers have failed to meet expectations. Whether in character, ability or desire for skill development, or even academics, I'd say almost all our outgoing transfers are welcomed to leave by out coaching staff.
Fretting about this is like concern for the sky falling upon our heads.

I can tell you how it’s become for me. I’ll make all possible attempts to see Clemson play every Saturday. All the other games I could care less about because you’re right. Current team may may or may not resemble next years unless some kind of parameters are put in place. I just watch Clemson and tune in at playoff time much like basketball. I hate this. I used to center my whole week around college football matchups
