I haven’t seen anyone speculate that if the “7 schools” that want to leave the ACC couldn’t break away and join a few other schools to create their own conference and negotiate a new TV contract. Possibility?

I don't think they could negotiate a better TV contract than what the ACC currently has. All the main players have deals with other conferences.
