While I support everyone's right to protest peacefully about anything they choose, I am sickened by the massive support for Hamas. Hamas throws rocks and hides their hands. They poke the bear and play the victim whenever the bear retaliates against them. The sickest part of it all is watching Jihad sympathizers spew their ignorance across campuses who allow them to harness a platform there. What these young Americans fail to realize, is just who they are supporting. Hamas cannot grandstand and claim the moral high ground after the decades of atrocities that they have committed. An organization that straps suicide vest on children younger than 10 years old has no business demanding support from the U.N. or anyone else for that matter. The media stokes the flames of war and division by airing footage of a war that is apparently one sided in matters of military victory but fail to cover adequate footage of the reason that Hamas is getting their teeth kicked in right now. The fact that Israel has showed decades of restraint towards an organization whose very constitution calls for the destruction of Israel and the elimination of all Jews is nothing short of amazing. If you ask me, this thorough spanking was long overdue.

Islamic doctrine in and of itself advocates for terrorism. 1400 years can't be wrong, and Islam has not changed since its origin 1400 years ago. It has always commanded violence against anyone who does not believe or obey the Sharia. In fact, 4 of the first 5 Caliphs were murdered by their successor. Islam has never been peaceful or tolerant of other faiths. In fact, it is the duty of every Muslim according to the Qur'an to cleanse the Earth of all unbelief. For the record, having phobia is different from stating the obvious. If you doubt what I'm saying, then you merely need to research the history of Islam and compare it to today's Islam. The same ole Islam it's always been.

Look man, I’m a conservative and a Trump supporter. The protests should’ve never turn, violent or destructive. That being said, what Israel is doing to Palestine killing innocent women, children, and civilians, Should be a war crime.
I don’t think these kids are supporting Hamas. I think they are protesting Israel murdering tins of thousands of innocent people.

I don't support either candidate running for office and regardless of who is in office, it has nothing to do with what is happening in Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces are not targeting women and children. What they are targeting are weapon systems and enemy forces that are hiding among women and children. The difference between Hamas and IDF would be the fact that on October 7th, Hamas purposely targeted civilian populations with missiles and killed thousands of innocent civilians. The Palestinian people willfully elected Hamas to serve as their government and many of them openly support terrorist activity from Hamas towards Israelis. I for one feel zero pity for the Palestinian people. Hamas should be eradicated from this planet and the Palestinian people should be more careful as to who they choose to represent them on the global stage. At the end of the day, Israel is defending their citizens against a terrorist group that uses women and children as human shield. As such, there will be civilian casualties.
Side note: I wonder if the people protesting in favor of Hamas hold the same outrage whenever Hamas straps a suicide vest on a 7 or 8 year old and sends them off to die?

I'm not thrilled about the unrestrained way Israel has gone about levelling Gaza but I also don't know if there was anything resembling a tidy way to kick in that teeming ant hive.
The Palestinians strike me as just about the most undeserving cause I've ever seen, though. I'm certainly not going to celebrate what's happening over there, ever, but it's also hard to feel terribly sorry for them. Any rational people would have gone: "okay, the war's over, we lost" 75 years ago...but they've doubled and tripled down on Islamic jihadism, and are somehow irrationally convinced Allah will one day return their "rightful" lands - even though their own ancestors took it from somebody else at the point of a sword. And so they carry on, year after year, decade after decade, keeping the conflict eternally alive and claiming the "right of return" to a place nobody under the age of 75 has ever lived in.
These useful idiots on college campuses screaming and yelling and shaking their fists aren't helping the Palestinians. Every time they chant "from the river to the sea!" they make it just that much more likely the Israelis are going to go for a final solution. At some point they're going to tire of this crap. They seem awfully close to that now.
Cultures can go toxic - there wasn't a lot of redeeming you could do for, say, the human-sacrificing Aztecs, or the Carthaginians who worshipped Moloch and threw their firstborns into a burning cauldron -and this Palestinian culture assuredly seems to have done just that. There were jubilant crowds out on the street as Hamas returned with captives and Israeli bodies.
That was pretty much the point I just shook my head, threw up my hands, and said: "okay then, let's see if you're still cheering this time next month." What had just been done wasn't just evil, it was insanely shortsighted. What did they think the Israelis were going to do?

a lousy job. And I was not aware that they had the moral authority to level entire cities over "thought crimes" or the celebration of Israeli deaths.
I agree the response needed to be swift and severe, but blocking humanitarian aid, and indiscriminately shooting fish in a barrel is a great way to see that this conflict never ends. UNICEF reported in February an estimated 30k civilian deaths, 13k of which were children, and most of them died from dehydration and lack of medical care.
Even the big bad US of A does not commit siege warfare and block humanitarian aid. That is where Isreal crossed a line, and I firmly stand on the other side of it.

Oh, I agree they've crossed the line. The Israelis are angry and afraid, and when people are angry and afraid and have corrupt populist leaders, bad things happen. The Israelis' ham-handed approach is costing them huge in the eyes of the world, and Netenyahu is so corrupt and so tone-deaf he simply doesn't care. Not condoning or approving of any of that.
They're not actively committing "genocide" - yet - but as was pointed out here, they've definitely hit the level of ethnic cleansing and are clearly committing war crimes left and right, and clearly could care less about civilian collateral damage. A lot of what they're doing feels like just blind rage.
But...sorry, I just can't bring myself to care about the Palestinians much either. That culture is diseased. It's not like they were banished to the middle of the desert. They have a 28-mile strip of beachfront property on the freaking Med, for cryin' out loud, all within spitting distance of modern Israeli airports; turn it into the premier vacation spot in the Middle East. Do more of that. Use what you have. Cultures that specialize at stuff get really good at it, and they were perfectly situated to make themselves collectively really wealthy. But instead...well, they got Yasir Arafat and the PLO, and then they got Hamas, and now here we all are.
The Palestinians made some bad, bad collective choices, and it shaped the character of their culture. Now the Israelis are going really dark themselves, and tragedy is ensuing.
I don't see a lot of salvaging that situation. You need reasonable people if you're going to make peace and I see absolutely no one reasonable there anymore. We need to back away, hold up our hands, and go: "we tried." Because we have. For 50+ years now. And stuff is worse than ever.

If a terrorist group has a missile launcher and its launch is imminent, then you take it out. Irrespective of the fact that Hamas is shielding such weapons with children. I would do the same thing to protect Americans.

Well, allow me to ease your conscience in stating that most of those children would have died violently anyway because Hamas would have used them as child soldiers or suicide bombers. Either way, youthful death was the impending result for them. As sad as that may be, it is the truth. I can recall in 2006, when a man and woman cut their newborn baby open and inserted a bomb inside the baby's carcass. They detonated killing 6 Marines in my unit. These people have no regard for human life and I for one do not pity them an ounce whenever they are properly dealt with.
