The portal could decimate our roster

Other coaches know we have talent on this team who are not being coached up properly. Would not surprise me to see them poach most of our 4&5 stars. If I had to guess, Id name 6 players who could land at a quality P5 program.
Maybe this is what needs to happen to force Dabo to use the portal properly.

It doesn't matter if Dabo uses the portal properly if he doesn't coach properly.

There are problems to fix. Not all of them are personal related.

Losing that many guys has been the standard the last few years. Why would this year be the straw that breaks the camel's back? What happens with the roster is the least of this team's worries right now. The coaching and leadership cabinet needs to be restocked first. Without that happening, it won't matter who leaves and arrives.
I hit my breaking point yesterday with that 2 minute drill. Well, that horrifically poor attempt at a 2 minute drill. I never thought this would be an great season. What I did think is that the offense would look different. That there would be an identity. The only difference on the OL this year is McFadden left, right? The regression of this group of players, just makes no sense to me. The inability of the OL to generate any kind of push is dumbfounding.
I see the reasons why it is happening. I am struggling to believe what I'm seeing. I don't know who starts next season, Klubnik, Vizzina or somebody else. What I expect is to see a QB on the field that understands protection packages and an OL that can be functional. There's too many blown assignments and passing up free defenders in both the run game and pass game.
One of the myriad things I'm tired of seeing this season is the looping MLB to protect the edge against the RPO. The DE is crashing down and the looping MLB is covering it up. It's blowing up how the RPO "is supposed to work" and Riley hasn't schemed an answer for it. It's infuriating.

of those protection break downs is on the line and some of it is on Cade. He has to see some of this and react accordingly rather it's changing the protection or just calling out a hot read. He's just not there.

All I could think about was Deshaun taking the field with 1:57 remaining and taking us straight down to score and win the NC. What I saw yesterday was PATHETIC.

Well, I agree with you. Our coaches should be seeing this too and addressing it. Look the players and coaches need to do better. But it is not happening. We go for a field goal on 4th and 1 late in the game because we needed three anyway. It is true, but a touchdown is harder to get in general. I wonder if Dabo's mind thought about failing near the goal line again before kicking the field goal? The last drive was pathetic but fitting for our season. The last four regular season games will be telling. Dabo appears to be a loss for answers now. Dabo has been exposed, but can or will he change? It may be too late now. Beating Clemson is no big deal anymore.

Riley and Richardson are questionable.

Personnel packages do not support a strong running game. In addition, there appears to be very limited use of formation, motion and play diversity (I.e. number of plays) to challenge the defenses. Audibles are predictable and seem limited in number of plays / routes.
The offense has been simplified to the point of ineffectiveness.

If they have a QB who doesn't stare at his primary and can...

lead a receiver then you're probably right. Cade still hasn't mastered leading a receiver on a crossing route but he seems to be improving a tiny bit at a time. He sucks at the read option so badly they've taken it off the playlist.
Had you said our receivers are easy pickings for a team with a QB who can hit them on the run then I'd agree.
