While Riley maybe building another powerhouse out west, looks like their defensive issues continue. He had a similar issue at OU.

I think USC will be way different. I think they are a sleeping giant. There is an advertisement blocking my screen, so hopefully there aren't too many typos and grammatical errors.

Riley took every piece worth taking to USC when he left, including a Heisman QB. Can’t argue that he builds top programs consistently, and kids love playing for him. USC will be a much better fit for him than Oklahoma

If you follow their recruiting, they are still not getting the studs in the trenches. It will be up to transfers for those positions as to whether they can win it all one day.

This is a hallmark of Lincoln Riley-coached teams. Was the same when he was at OU. But if you outscore people like his teams generally do.....

Had issues with discipline and the run. Will be interesting to see how that evolves throughout the season. Might be OK to make the playoffs but similar to the OU days, there would be issues against more complete teams.
