Dabo is a fiduciary of CLEMSON University. He has zero right to impose his own preferences on the school's program when those preferences are restricting the program. And as many others have said using the portal or NIL would have zero impact on culture. I see our culture currently as the problem and could only improve when we start playing Clemson football again and not Dabo football. This isn't a church football league. Nepotism and stubbornness aren't Christian virtues.

transfer portal if he does not wish to. He can run his program through high school recruiting. That's not inherently wrong.

Just like it's not wrong for Deion to strictly use the transfer portal. Both are within the rules.

Now, if Dabo fails to win due to not engaging in the transfer portal, then Clemson and Neff can simply hire a new coach. And that coach can run his program however he would like.

The number of days where CDS is granted immunity and power are numbered. The ROI is all that matters. Clemson is a business and when the power that be deem it financial not viable to support Dabo. He will be terminated.

we are no where near that point

but we are the point of terminating the supporting cast. And Dabo does not have much of a voice in that decision. The results are now clear. They were not clear 1-2 years ago.

I was thinking about this exact same thing earlier. I haven’t seen this much irritation and division amongst the fan base since the Bowden era. All over something as silly as not using the portal. I mean if you think about from someone outside the Clemson bubble, it’s hilariously stupid what he’s doing to HIMSELF. I don’t know how all this works itself out.

If you don't like Clemson's culture find something else to do. You're not entitled to have it your way. This ain't Burger King. My guess is that you couldn't run a successful popsicle-stand.
