for Clemson Atletics>>>>Men's Soccer(4-2-1 overall) 2 nil over #9 Duke and Women's Volleyball(8-3 overall) 3-0(25-22,25-20,25-13) over Tulane in New Orleans on the second day of the Tulane Invitational(2-0)with Texas El Paso coming up tomorrow on the final day of the invitational...Sure would have loved to have seen the #8 Women's Soccer team(6-1-2) hold on and beat #4 FSU after jumping out to a early 2 nil lead but they'll be fine and rebound and get a W next Thursday in Coral Gables vs the Hurricanes on the ACC Network

ref for the game was pretty bad.... touch fouls on us and Duke could body slam us and nothing.

The ladies soccer may have been better off not scoring so fast and easy. Kinda looked like they lost focus and it stunned fsu and made them more focused. Jmho. But, as you said so well, this can be the best thing to happen. Best competition they've played this season. Tremendous experience and they will learn what it takes now. Overall a great day.

But I must admit, I missed large chunks of their match hitting refresh on Jacob's every posted hole. He probably didn't need this cut but the two golfers in front of him in points both missed so he pretty much wrapped up his tour card. He probably already had, but a top 20 finish puts him right at top 10 in points. And that gives him a great opportunity to win the kft crown with a win.
