had a combined two players drafted between the three of them, so it seems they should offer a lot of quality depth and NFL caliber potential to the league when they join. The only person making the ACC Commissioner look smart right now resides in Washington DC.

But would either have been drafted if they weren't ACC schools?***

does not make me disagree with their addition. The other two bring in less for sure.

take this ball and run with it. They will be one of the few teams to enter the ACC and actually improve themselves on a national level. They seem to itching to get started.

“Elite”. That word is sorely overused. Those 3 schools are ####. The ACC is ####. Enjoy your travels to California for away games. I won’t step foot in that communist state.

It would probably do you good to get out of the bubble***

The commish could have done much better. He tried to make a big splash but taking someone’s leftovers does not cut it. This hurt more than helped the conference.

The ACC is much more than football.

in women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis (men's tennis always has talent but usually underperforms), men's gymnastics, men's and women's volleyball, water polo.

It's just their football and men's basketball have both sucked for several years now.

TIP, Stanford is great in those sports, but

all of those sports bring $0 revenue to a league. Stanford and Cal have absolutely zero monetary value to an ACC sports contract, but yet that moron Phillips still proceeded with bringing them in. I agree with someone earlier that liked the SMU pick, at least they care and will financially support their program, Cal and Stanford would rather march the streets or support their transgender debate team than give one $hit about their football program!

I forgot golf to for Stanford

but they were in BCS bowls and pushing top 5 not that long ago in football. Things went south in the Shaw era and they are trying to turn it around now. Don't think it's impossible for them to be good in football again

Thanks to football****

It's more than football (but NOT "much" more). Each change in the merry-go-round

Phillips adding those schools is the equivalent of stacking the court -- he needed more votes so he found three desperate schools.
