One Clemson signee saw a huge move up and a number of Tiger signees
fell several spots in the final 247Sports 2019 rankings.
Winder-Barrow (Ga.) defensive end Logan Cash saw a 450-plus spot improvement to add a fourth star and move into the final Top 247 (238). He improved by 32 spots at his position, moving up to the No. 17 strongside defensive end rated. Overall, however, the trend was downward in the final 247 evaluation with Clemson's top-rated signees outside the top-40 in No. 5 CB Andrew Booth (42), No. 6 WR Joe Ngata (43) and No. 9 WR Frank Ladson (65). Early signing period addition Will Putnam fell outside the top-100 to No. 118 (No. 4 OG). Other Top 247 signees include safety Joseph Charleston (125; No. 10 S), linebacker Kane Patterson (202; No. 13 ILB), linebacker Bryton Constantin (209; No. 15 OLB) and defensive tackle Tyler Davis (227; No. 17 DT). Top remaining target, running back and pro baseball prospect Jerrion Ealy did move into a fifth-star and the top-30 on Tuesday. 247Sports has Clemson's 2019 class rated the lowest of the major recruiting sites, at No. 10 currently (Rivals and ESPN have it No. 8).
