Clemson announced Thursday that returning starting right-hander Spencer Strider, as well as sophomore catcher Drew Donathan and freshman right-hander Carter Raffield are out for the season and will redshirt.

Strider (arm injury), a Knoxville, Tennessee native, worked in the midweek and weekend action last season, going 5-2 with a 4.67 ERA in 22 appearances. He posted 70 strikeouts to 35 walks in 51 innings. Strider was named the No. 7 prospect in the ACC for the 2020 MLB draft by Perfect Game.

Raffield (arm) was ranked a top-101 prospect by Baseball America and Perfect Game. Raffield is out of Cochran, Georgia.

Donathan suffered a leg injury, per the release. He was named a Perfect Game honorable mention All-American out of Charlotte Christian.
