Former Clemson DE suffers knee injury

by - Assoc. Editor -

Miami Dolphins defensive end Andre Branch suffered a knee injury against the Raiders on Sunday.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Branch is likely out at least a few weeks.

"Dolphins DE Andre Branch suffered a knee injury on Sunday that is expected to cause him to miss some time, I’m told," Rapoport posted. "Likely a few weeks. This comes on the heels of fellow DE William Hayes being out for the season with a torn ACL."

In 2018, Branch has registered five tackles and a tackle for loss. For his NFL career, he has 168 stops, seven forced fumbles, and 24 sacks.

Branch was a second-round draft pick out of Clemson in 2012.
