Mal Waldrep is down to a final four, and Clemson is in that group.
Clemson is in a quartet with Alabama, Florida and Tennessee. He visited for Elite Junior Day in January. “One thing I would really take away is that Clemson sells itself,” Waldrep said back then. “Every single person on the visit had a very, very good time. It really gave a family atmosphere to it, and the message from the coaches was definitely that we want you to be a part of this.” He is due back in town for the big official visit weekend starting May 31. He is set to visit the other top schools after that, also telling On3 that he hasn't eliminated Auburn yet either. Waldrep plays at Central High School, which produced Justyn Ross and TJ Parker, among more Clemson signees. Waldrep received his Clemson offer last June 1. Final 4!
