WATCH: Georgia Tech players lifting weights during pre-game

by - Assoc. Editor -

If you watch college football long enough, a new wrinkle or two will develop over time.

In a rather interesting sight, several Yellow Jacket players were seen lifting weights and doing bicep curls on the sideline during pre-game of Thursday's Clemson-Georgia Tech contest.

"I have never seen that before. That is one of the coolest, strangest things I've ever seen," ESPN analyst David Pollack said about the weightlifting.

ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit also said during the ESPN pre-game telecast that he had never seen lifting weights as a type of pregame warm-up either.

It appears that the Georgia Tech players are hyped up for the matchup against the defending National Champions. However, I would advise them to save up some of their energy for their contest in which they are an overwhelming 37 point underdog.
