Just thought Id repost it here for the masses. Absolutely incredible. This play should be viewed by every team before every season as a lesson to why you never give up and never quit on a play.

I think they're following the NFLs lead...

The belief is that the current rule unreasonably punishes the offense and unfairly rewards the defense. I couldn't disagree more.

so what is supposed to happen if you fumble out the endzone before you cross the plane? They treat it like a fumble out of bounds and keep the ball? Thats dumb

The ball goes out to the 20 but the offense retains possession.***

One was the 4th down conversion from Chase Brice to Tee Higgins in the 2018 Syracuse game. And then Brice's 20 or so yard scramble on, I think, the next play, extended by some great downfield blocking by Higgins. That run of his was huge, as was, of course, the 4th down conversion, especially after the false start penalty that put us back 5 yards further, to make it 4th & 6 instead of 4th & 1. He was determined and not to be denied on that run or drive!
Without that comeback win, there's no national championship that year. Without those 2 plays, there's no comeback win.

Can’t find video of it but one of the top hustle plays has to be Hunter Renfrow tackling Ryan Anderson of Alabama in the NCG after a fumble. If Alabama scores that touchdown they take all the momentum and Clemson probably does not win it’s second NC.

Renfrow would have to be in the Top 5 or so, at least.
Yes, there were better all-around players, but Renfrow did it all, did it humbly, did it with extremely low expectations, and did it all really well. Hunter never half-a$$ed anything while at Clemson, or even in the NFL. I love the play he made with the Raiders against, I think the Rams, when he spotted a fake punt and not only tackled the guy but hit him so hard it knocked the ball out of his hands and gave the Raiders the ball on downs.

In no particular order, the best that I know are:
Gaines Adams blocks FG, catches the block and runs 60 or so yards for TD against Wake Forest Sammy Watkins with a catch and run of about 75 yards … TD … on the first play after Georgia scored Sterling Smith tackles Miami back for a safety in a 15-14 Orange Bowl win James Davis did not score but ran about 50 yards straight through the middle at SCar to set up the 13-9 win The above mentioned Wiggins forced fumble against NCar

is the play that convinced me that the Tiger D had moved into a realm of aggressive excellence. Since that moment, we have played incredible defense:

Here we knew for sure that under a CBV Defense, the threat of the CPJ triple option offense was history.
