Haven't been to a NYE show since 2010. Usually go to N1-N3 every MSG year.

People who like both are just try hard jam band poseurs. I think he was giving you credit and assuming you were a legit Panic fan so there's no way you could like Phish.

Saying you like both is like saying Neapolitan is your favorite ice cream flavor, or plaid is your favorite color.

Just comparatively I’ve only seen about 30 phish shows vs 250 Panic. You are right that many Panic fans scoff at phish and visa versa.
