APM has run in Altras for several years. They were major gamechangers for my long distance running.

But for whatever reason I never considered natural fit shoes ("barefoot" if you will, but not the Vibram 5 fingers silliness) for work. Then one of my colleagues came in wearing some by Xero and I was all like, hey, are those zero drops? He said yes and raved about them.

Anyhoo, APM bought some made by the CCP for $40 on Amazon. Wow. Just wow. I am never going back to traditional shoes.

BTW, did you know the "traditional" shoe shape is based on horse riding gear, with a narrow pointy front and heels made to hold stirrups? Never been a natural fit and was not intended to. But were adapted for fashion.

APM is now a clown shoes convert and will preach the natural fit show gospel to anyone who will listen.

Mine are Euro 44s and fit great. I usually wear an American 11 or 11.5.***

when I went into an office, I wore those all the time, especially the Boulder Boot. Now I just wear Birkenstocks or Nike Dunks because I hate the office
