I could be talking about something that happened that day and say someone was black, in no bad way and story isn’t bad. Teenagers be like “that’s racist” .
Like it’s racist to say someone’s ethnicity while not using any negative connotations. Just saying someone was black or Asian is racist to them.
I could be like “I met the nicest man at ingles today, we had a lot in common and talked a while, he was a black guy” kids “that’s racist “

I feel like I'm on the other end of that--its pretty difficult to offend me. I see the things younger folks get upset about and it friggin' baffles me. Are they taught to be like that?
I'm an anachronism I suppose.
