His odds are actually a whole lot better in Miami-Dade than they would be in any other major city in Florida. Even Florida's capital of Tallahassee went about 64% for Biden. Cityfolk just do not like Trump, end of story.
Those are the best odds he's ever likely going to get. A 50/50 Dem/Pub jury certainly seems entirely possible. He won't be acquitted - I'm morally certain of that, the overwhelming majority of the jury is likely to find against him because his record in actual courtrooms is dismal, he literally got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, and they've got him on tape dismantling his own I-Magically-Declassified-It defense. But I do think his odds of drawing one or two hardcore MAGA holdouts who can hang the jury just rose substantially.
If he'd been tried in DC, I'd have suggested just marching him straight down to USP Lee, it'd have saved everybody some time. I dunno how good his odds are now, but you'd think he's got more than a snowball's chance in Hades, anyway.

in DC. that argument is gone now. He will get a fair trial and I should be convicted. While I havent seen the evidence, I trust the Department of Justice. I can't imagine they would bring a case they didnt think they could win.

I am not a big truster of the Feds, like, ever. History tells us again and again and again that if you don't watch a Gubmint agency, any time and any place, they get up to stuff. The only thing that keeps them on the straight and narrow is scrutiny.
They're going to get that and then some on this one, though. Which means every "i" is likely to be dotted and every "t" crossed, and they will absolutely come after him with their best prosecutor and an overwhelming pile of evidence.
I honestly don't think the trial really even matters much. It'll likely be won or lost in the jury selection, though we won't know how until it shakes out at the end.

I hope that is true. They'll have needed to have stepped absolutely correct on this or it's liable to go sideways on them. I cannot even imagine the pressure the jury will be under.

The second is speculation even if true, and doesn't really matter since the this "attack" never happened.
Third, it doesn't absolve Trump from breaking the law.
So, what point are you trying to make?

Are you referring to my 9/11 theories or JFK... ? Other than those two, I really don't know what you're talking about.
Nothing I've posted today has anything to do with either. Today, I've been resigned to refuting false claims.
But, of course, "deranged conspiracy nonsense" is a petty out when you don't have an actual logical reply.

Did Trump remove Milley?
Jun 9, 2023, 11:20 AM

He had time. He had authority. No? He didn't? Gee. If Milley trying to falsely accuse a sitting President is about as criminal as it gets, and that President with the time and authority to do something about it does nothing, then maybe your premise is faulty.

with a whole lot of people on TNet is their 'either/or' mentality and how anything outside those bounds is a threat.
It's not a binary world when it comes to politics. Try to think independently.
