I know all the pregame attention will be on the change at QB, but the defense is playing a similar team to Texas A&M, can run or pass and has a QB that can hurt with his legs and arm. I know our D is greatly advertised, but our safeties will be tested once again
This matchup will gauge if our pass defense has made improvements since Texas AM. One of the problems with playing 3 option teams in our first 4 games is that we haven’t been able to work much on our pass defense in game situations. This scheduling scenario helped against GTech, but may be a liability against A&M.
