FSU SHOULD PUNISH UGA

After this miscarriage of justice, FSU should absolutely light up UGA and make the SEC suffer. As a matter of fact, every ACC school playing this bowl season against an SEC opponent should take it personal and render defeats to the likes which they’ve never suffered before.
GO TIGERS! BEAT KENSUCKY!

Actually FSU should go through all the bowl practice then back out less than 24 hours before game time.

That would be real justice, but undoubtably there are checks and balances that would prevent that. Think how many people would be affected by such: fans with tickets, vendors, travel companies, etc.

Actually, Florida State should simply announce now that they are going to boycott the bowl game and claim a national championship at 13-0. They earned it, and only the college football playoff committee is taking away their opportunity to play for it
Unless there are greater repercussions than the $6 million, there is no reason for Florida State to do anything but boycott. In the big picture of things $6 million spread 14 or 15 ways is not a lot of money. In fact it is nothing.
Boycotting the New Year’s Day six bowl game is appropriate.

Maybe they should riot in the streets and loot and burn local businesses too? You know, a mostly peaceful protest.

May beat Ga, if their 2d string QB gets healthy. Definitely won't punish Ga., as much as I'd love to see it. Remember, also, Travis could not be gracious about escaping with a win in an overtime game Clemson owned for 95% of the day. Instead, he had to run his yap about how he felt Clemson disrespected the Holes and deserved to lose because we put man coverage on a receiver.
I never want any player to be injured, particularly not a horrible injury like that. Unfortunately for FIZZOU, however, the chance of being competitive in a playoff game likely was a consideration. Also, the Holes had their usual off field skullduggery which even Finebaum (barf!) was thumping tonight.
I think the unwritten standard was supposed to be that FIZZOU gets in under these circumstances. It is crappy that they didn't decide what they should have and it betrays likely continuing discrimination against ACC teams in in favor of the Bamas or any other available SEC team with one loss compared to ACC undefeated teams. Even so, I am not sure a little Karma did not enter into too.

24 hours? I was thinking discretely crowd source the funds to cover travel expenses… show up and get their bowl gifts for players… go out for on-field warm ups… and then just leave.
Go Tigers!

They should COVID19 them like they did us. Call in sick the day of the game and screw the fans the sponsors and the networks.

You’re forgetting one issue with that. FSU isn’t good. UGA will have their way with FSU for 60 minutes and prove the committee right about leaving them out of the playoffs.

If the game actually takes place, FLST might actually have the edge. UGA lost their chance but FLST had theirs taken away. A team that has nothing but frustration can be dangerous. Especially against a disappointed group. My two cents.

Georgia played close games with teams less than fsu and so did Bama and Texas, who lost to Oklahoma. Problem is if not a playoff game too many will opt out in a meaningless game. NFL is the next focus.

It would be more effective if everyone that plays an SEC team, sent a message. The problem is not the treatment of FSU, the problem is the treatment of the SEC. If you’re not in the SEC, it’s just a matter of time before you become the next FSU. There will have to be a very loud and clear message. The words are being ignored.

If they did, they would simply claim since they failed to make the playoff, they didn’t want to be there. That’s always the excuse when they lose a bowl game.

UGA does have a terrible record in bowl games they see as meaningless, which is anything but a cfp spot. That bunch wants it all or nothing every year. Kirby used to get punked by the Poultry and the bees regularly.

This is a tough choice - I think I would pull for

…well…hold on, let me think some more about this.
I would, would, would, pull for…
Dang it!!! I just cannot come up with a logical choice here…it’s that PUNTROOSKI that FSU had enshrined in their football legacy.
If Clemson beat FSU in football 100 times in a row, FSU would start every single game reviewing the PUNTROOSKI!
Therefore, based on this, I choose…hold on…Hershel was going to commit to Danny that weekend the Georgia coaches hijacked him out of the state of Georgia.
OK..based on that…I choose…FORGET IT, I CAN’T DO IT!
